Add Messenger to your site
Copy the code from Settings › Support settings › Messenger › Add it to your site › Copy code. It looks like this:
<script src="https://widget.customercatalyst.io/v1/messenger.js" data-key="pk_…" async></script>data-key is your public key. Always copy the code from the app: it has your key and the right address.
Where to paste it
Section titled “Where to paste it”Paste the code before the closing </body> tag on every page where Messenger should show. Most sites have one place that is added to every page — a footer, layout or “custom code” setting. Use that.
Paste it once per page. If it ends up on a page twice, Messenger still loads only once.
Bubble
Section titled “Bubble”Add an HTML element to the page (or to a reusable element that is on every page, like your header or footer) and paste the code into it. Turn Display in iframe off for that element. Inside an iframe, Messenger can’t reach the page.
Webflow
Section titled “Webflow”Paste the code into your site’s custom code (before </body>), or into an Embed element on the page.
WordPress
Section titled “WordPress”Paste the code into your theme’s footer, or use a plugin that adds code before </body> on every page.
Google Tag Manager
Section titled “Google Tag Manager”Create a Custom HTML tag with the code and fire it on all pages.
Check that it works
Section titled “Check that it works”Open your site and look for the launcher in the corner. If it isn’t there, see Messenger or form doesn’t show.
If you chose Only my own button, there is no launcher; add your own button.
