# Customer types

> The list of types you can give a customer.

Open **Settings › Customer types** (organization admins and customer success managers).

- **Add a type:** enter the **Customer type** name and click **Add type**.
- **Remove a type:** click the minus next to it. A type that a customer still uses can't be removed; you see *"There are at least one customer using this type"*. Change those customers' type first.
